Here are five easy warm-up drills every golfer should do before teeing off.
🎯 1. Dynamic Stretching
Forget static stretches — focus on dynamic movements:
- Arm circles
- Trunk rotations
- Hip swings
Get the blood flowing and muscles loose without overstretching.
🎯 2. Slow Motion Swings
Without a ball, make 5–10 slow, exaggerated swings.
Feel the motion from takeaway to follow-through.
This builds tempo and wakes up your golf muscles.
🎯 3. Impact Drill (One-Handed Swings)
Take a few easy swings using just your lead hand (left hand for right-handed golfers).
Focus on:
- Solid contact
- Smooth rotation
- Balance through impact
Then switch to your trail hand.
This warms up your feel for the clubface and body connection.

When you hit the practice area:
- Start with 30–50 yard wedge shots
